So my last entry was July 2006
To recap the last two years would be lackluster. Right now I am loving Chicago Autumn. I am surrounded by good friends, in love, good job...im set! Just thought I would stop by and say hi to old friends. I am keeping up my art galleries on my myspace page (username:telegrafixs)so stop on by and friend request me if you get the chance.

My last day of HardRock was lackluster.
I did not get creamed in the face. One
by one people faded till only me and a
small asian friend went out for a drink
after wards. Shenanigans arose and we ended
up the night swimming in belmont harbor
among some old friends,slimy rocks and a
man that appeared with no shirt but plenty
of mardi gras beads.I believe in a drunken
state he had wandered away from the gaygames
being held a mile away at wrigley field. It
was so dark that unfortunately we were notified
of his presence when he found my straight
friend mark, changing out of his bathing suit
behind a tree.
I am in the middle of a weeks vacation before
i start my Bradford job on monday. Ive spent
it on alcoholic binges, Ikea sprees, and hoochi
coochi girls. All have left me feeling empty
inside.
Im currently at home, thinking it would be warm
and nostalgic to spend 3 or 4 days at home with
the family. I arrived at 1pm and since then i
have eaten 5 times and taken 3 naps. Its true..
....you can NEVER go home.I cant wait till im
back in my dirty hateful city, with my ignoring
boyfriend and cynical friends.
Since i have all this time to blow,I thought
I would throw a fistfull of recent sketches atcha..

So i took the offer, my last day @ Hardrock is on the 24th
I have to be in MY OFFICE at 9 on monday the 31st, WOOT
I have a week paid vacation in one week....WOOOT
The police called today, they want me to come down to the
station and identify the muggers...i guess they caught the
guys. Its been a entire month...go figure....WOOOOOOT
I drew this poster for my friend Adams Solar panel Company
called SOL-AIR. He said if i signed them all "1000printed"
that he will give me 500 bucks....Seeing as i originally did this
for charity its a nice gift................WOOOOTTTTTTTTT
He is selling the poster for 10 bucks a pop, all proceeds go
to his company witch is ultimately helping the environment.

I awake from a hangover...few faint memories of a
rainbow parade flash through my head. Half a veggie
burger at my side. I decide to decorate the house.
How homosexual of me.
Added fishies to my lamp and put up some toys
Hung mi VooDoo Dolls <3
Stole a giant Disco ball from Hardrock and
added some strange stuffed animals from
the thrift store.
Then used the old chicken pez dispenser
on a color 11+17 scanner with mini discs
boarding it on your bathroom door.......trick

So after getting to work and finding my locker broken into, then
buying new work shoes and pants...i get mugged.
Not your average mugging...full on tag team, choked, stabbed in
the back with "something" thrown on the ground mugged. They
didnt get much cash, but they got my photo ipod which has been
my pride and joy over the last month. They grabbed my bag which
had my new work clothes in it and i flipped out and screamed..
GIVE ME MY FUCKING UNIFORMMMMMM!! so they ditched it down
the alley a few yards away.Nice boys. It was so stressful that i
immediately needed a cigarette, so i reached down and realized
they had taken those too. THAT was the last straw.
Ive been practicing matrix trinity moves
in my undies all night in case we meet again.
Im trying not to think about it but it destroyed my weekend...either
they stole my keys, or i lost them in the fight...so now i cant go to the
gym which has been good relaxation lately...and i cant pick up jocelyn
from the Airport tomorrow. So i will be taking a 2.5 hour cta Ride with
tons of luggage.fantastic.

So this product development company just called me for a job that originally turning me down. They offered me a job for 33grand a year. Fullbenefits, tuition reimburstment, 20 vacation and 8 holidays paid. Bad thing is i have to get a car to drive there "30mins" and i have to dress business casual. Do i do it? I dont know....i only made 11 thousand last year so it would be triple my pay plus all the benefits.....grahh

So my last Entry was April 6th
Ive since turned 24, and treated myself to a ipodPHOTO.
I was throwing new artwork and old photos on it in came
across this.
It was taken at a parade last summer. I must have been
tooootally trashed seeing that i had transformed into a
irrecongnizable fratboy, and the fact that im drinking
BUSH LIGHT of all things while walking down a public
street...god bless me.
Then i realized i never posted any pictures of my
Road trip to California last summer...so here ya go

Yesterday I called off work..drove home.
Talked with my family for hours. Played
dark tag with the babies. Got back to
chicago around 11pm. Painted till 7am.
Then sat on the beach and drank half a
bottle of wine as the sun came up.
Im so calm
Waiting for zombie mode to kick in.
off to work i go.

Me & My Boyfriend of "almost" 2 years broke up.
We have been trying to salvage it every few days
but it has turned into train wreck after train wreck.
Things are horrible, but we keep trying to float it.
Do whatever we can to stay in this mundane stale
relationship. This song by the Flaming lips, although
simple & cheesy, made me think about how im
wasting time forcing something that isnt going to
happen.

So i think im going to call this Sean boy who has
been hunting me the last 6 months or so. He is cute
loaded, extremely smart, and 1 month away from
being a lawyer....very different from Donny.

Im 23 years old and 2 weeks ago became 100% self
sufficient. No CreditCard-School loan-Medical help
from the parents. Something i should have accomplished
long ago....just the school loans cut me deep. So in effort
to raise a few extra bucks on the side im trying to start
a childrens portraits company. Im posting flyers around
the city. $200 bucks get you the original portrait, 2 pages
of high quality prints "your choice of sizes" as well as a
CD with a file sharing copy and a 300dpi version so you can
print it out on photo paper for yourself.
Here are a few samples, The first baby is my Co-workers
marzettes. The second is my nephew Justin. They seem to
get big reactions out of people, specially mothers. Its funny
because people are so impressed with realism, which is the
easiest and most boring thing for me...i could spend weeks on
a black and white drawing that is well designed and crafted but
as soon as you do some photorealistic shit that every semi-trained
artist should be able to do, people flip.
Im also In the process of finding local tattoo shops to intern
at. After years and years of people telling me i should tattoo
artist, i thought to myself.....maybe i actually can. Something
about tattoo artists intimidate me, ill just have to learn to ignore
them the same as i do customers at my work.

After a 10 consecutive days of bars, I told myself
i have a problem. 3 nights ago i smoked a pack
in 3 hours...3 fucking hours. So Ive banned bars
for 2 weeks. Im on day 3, and have been pretty
successful, although im finding it hard to fall
asleep when im not trashed. Ive only smoked
4 cigarett a day...not a impressive lifestyle but
its a start. |

I woke up at 6am on a saturday morning
-ive done all the dishes
-i did all my laundry
-applied to 2 jobs
-burned 3 new cds
-drew for an hour
Its 8:30 am and i have a hour before leaving for work
Its going to be a fooking productive day! My show is tonight, I only have one
piece showing, but its an silent auction so who knows....i may make bank. If

Ultraviolet sucked....but the chick is hot. There is a scene where someone

someone to try and spit at me today.

Speaking of ART, i just discovered the BLICK store downtown yesterday!!!!!!!!
I am fucking amazed, soooo much better and cheaper than Pearl. I bought a canvas
and supplies....i am going to start painting again, i cant wait. Out of all the black
and white sketches ive been posting lately, which one would you guys like to see
as a full blown color painting? Any interesting ideas you would like to request? |

What is a Popper?
I keep hearing this word....mostly on BET when guys are
staring at crazy jiggling bootayyys, but ive heard people
say it on the streets as well. Like "shes a popper" or "he is
into poppers" I originally thought it was something along
the lines of "pop that ass" or "pill popping"
Im having a gallery show this saturday night in the south
loop. Its a silent auction, the curator said she is pretty
sure she will get me over a thousand "crosses fingers"

$13.99 each. They open up like lockets, but i
guess youll have to buy them to find out whats

They Changed my original designs alittle as you can see.
The designs for September and July are gonna kick ass though.
Im going through Hardrocks BIGIDEA program to
revamp the kids menu in Adobe Illustrator. The
HeadHoncho of all the hardrocks in the world is
in Chicago for the next few days...i showed him
some plans and he seemed genuinely interested.
cross yo fingers.
Also i was offered a illustration job doing simple
yet realistic drawing for book that tell stories for
children who are to "slow" to ever read. Its alot of
work for not alot of pay....im still debating..but it
would be interesting to try. |

Dude, I am Retardo Commando....after 3 years i JUST clicked on "richtextmode" and realized how you guys are changing your font color and size.
Anyway Ive been forcing myself to apply to 4 jobs a day for the last week. It has been pretty fruitless. Finally this came from www.startmobile.com. Basically im selling my artwork for cell phone wallpaper, i only get 33 cents a download. I am more excited about making it onto the site, the majority of the artists on there have been featured in juxtapoz and are wayyyy outta my leauge.

Marci came over yesterday and we were supposed to cook a big dinner and look for jobs online...but somehow we got side tracked and took 60MG of aderol each! crazy crazy crazy. My mom called and said she was in the city and going to MoodyBibleInstitute for a church service that her sister was in. Being cracked out, we jumped at the chance to go to church...met them...and proceeded drip sweat during the entire 2 hour sermon, i was litterally soaking...i saw marci eat four pieces of gum in a row. It was horrible...i felt my heart pounding everywhere in my body like it was about to blow up like a bomb...and the minister wouldnt stop talking about "meeting the maker"
You think that would stop us from taking the stuff ever again, but we then proceeded to come home and crush up another 30MG and snort it up our nose...not as scary as i thought it would be. Needless to say i spent from 1:30am to 7 am looking at porn and smoking cigarettes. It is now 12:47pm on tuesday and im eating for the first time since 6 pm sunday. How could anyone be prescribed that shit?!
